Transit Seminars, Inc. has been in contact with the Indiana Department of Professional Regulation regarding using this class - ALTA/ACSM (8 Hours) for your CEU's/PDH's in Illinois, Ohio & Kentucky. We were told that the listed states have entered into a Reciprocity Agreement with Indiana  regarding the use of continuing education topics & seminar classes between these states, as long as the class is approved by one of the states. This class was approved by Indiana's State Board of Registration for Indiana Land Surveyors in January 2011, and Indiana Professional Engineers on March 17, 2011.

  Transit Seminars has been approved by the Indiana State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers to teach ALTA/ACSM. We have decided to reschedule our seminars in April & send brochures to include Engineers for this class. Brochures are in the mail. This class provides Engineers with (8) Hours of CEU's/PDH's. The following classes are open to Engineers as well as Surveyors:

The new 2011  ALTA / ACSM Minimum Standard Detail Requirements become effective February 23, 2011 and they contain "many major changes".  This isn't just a slight overhaul in the standards over the past 5 years - you'll be surprised!

Because of the many changes and to do justice to the class, Transit Seminars submitted this seminar to be upgraded to eight hours. The Department of Professional Regulation and the Board approved this as an Eight Hour Mandatory class.

We have re-written the whole class so that we can show you all the differences between the 2005 & 2011 Standards. You will be issued both a computer disc and handbook with all the new standards. The registration fee for this class is $200.00.

We are kicking off the Fall with Indiana Water Boundaries. This class covers many Federal & State laws that govern how Indiana surveyors should be surveying properties that adjoin Indiana's lakes, ponds, rivers & streams. It goes well beyond the requirements given in Rule 12.

Find out what dramatic changes the Federal Submerged Lands Act of 1953 made in owning property adjoining bodies of water in Indiana. We'll go into detail of many articles & chapters of Indiana's Title 14. Swamps & Overflowed Lands will be studied from a Federal perspective; then we'll wrap-up the day w/ Indiana's 327 IAC 17 which covers Wetland Activity Permits.
